Members of the band are Lewis Umfress (bass guitar), Marvis Summerford (banjo), Hershel Sorrells (fiddle), Wayne Sorrells (guitar), and Bill Robertson (guitar). Lewis is the band leader and contact person.
Lewis and the High Mountain Boys have a bluegrass gospel music program on Channel 39 that airs live from 8:30pm-10:pm central time on Monday nights. They have held this program for over thirteen years and have missed very few live programs. Jerry Wilburn Oil Company and Citgo Products have supported and promoted the band during this time. Please stop in and visit your local Citgo in Fulton, Tupelo, and Mooreville Mississippi if you live in this area. Tell them that you appreciate Jerry supporting our group and making it possible for you to enjoy live programming.
The band accepts phone calls and requests on their show and would be glad to hear from you either by phone or by their email at lumfress1@yahoo.com The band tries to play all song requests and to include all prayer requests by the second following program if possible.
Lewis is the band leader and contact person. They
perform at festivals, churches, reunions, restaurants, and various other
places. The band has performed all over the states of Alabama, Mississippi
